What Is The Family Indemnity Plan?

The Family Indemnity Plan or (FIP) is an insurance plan from CUNA Caribbean Insurance that provides a cash benefit that can be used to cover funeral costs and final expenses associated with you the Member, and up to five (5) eligible members of your family. Note that you must be a member of the Credit Union to enrol in this plan.

The Benefits

✅ Enjoy up to $100,000 dollars in coverage.‌

✅ One monthly premium covers final expenses for you and up to five eligible family members (including any two persons you choose from your parents & parents-in-law).‌

✅ No medical examination required.‌

✅ You are eligible to receive the full benefit (per person) where valid claims are made.‌

✅ You get lifetime insurance coverage once you enrol before age 76.

Who Is Covered?

The Plan You Select Can Cover You And Any Combination Of The Following Persons

✅ Your spouse or significant other or‌‌

✅ Any combination of up to two persons from your parents or parents-in-law. These persons must be enrolled before age 76.‌

✅ Your children (aged 1 through 25 and who are not yet married). Children who are permanently disabled are covered for the duration of their lives once they are enrolled before age 26.

How To Apply For The Plan?

You Must Be A Member Of The Credit Union To Enrol Onto The Plan.

THE PROCESS
① It is advisable to use a desktop or laptop computer to finish this process.‌‌

② Click on the Application Form button below, and download the enrolment form.‌‌

③ Fill out the Enrolment Form using Adobe Acrobat Reader.‌

④ Print the form and bring it to the Credit Union along with:‌
✓ Two Forms of valid picture Identification.‌
✓ Recent Utility Bill not more than 3 months old i.e., T&TEC / TSTT / WASA / Cable (if utility bill is not in applicant’s name, a letter of authorization must be provided by owner with a copy of owner’s ID).‌

⑤ Pay the first month’s premium.
